When manufacturing Angelking industrial embroidery threads,
there are always small amounts of leftover thread.
While not enough to spool for industrial use, it's far too wasteful to throw away...
"Is there a way to make use of this thread?"
It was this feeling of "mottainai" (wastefulness) that gave birth to cigarette winding.
It all started when we re-wound small quantities of leftover industrial thread and sold them at events.
When we quietly placed a basket filled with various types and colors of thread wound into cigarette rolls,
many people picked them up.

Later, after being approached by an artist,
we started selling cigarette-wound thread as a product.
What makes me happy since starting to sell cigarette-wound thread is that
through these cigarette rolls, it has become easy for everyone to pick up
the many types of thread manufactured by Angelking.
It always makes me very happy to hear comments like "They have this color!" or "Shiny embroidery is fun!"
on social media and at events.
Please continue to incorporate them into your creations and tell us about the finished products and their usability.
